The GIST: ICYMI, it’s finally March, but instead of thinking about what happened last March, we’re feeling pumped for all the basketball that’s going down. The Sixers and the Villanova men’s team both had big wins last night, so let’s shoot.

Sue Bird had a busy week, from officially re-signing with the Storm on Monday to launching a new media company on Tuesday.

The GIST: Not everyone is stoked that the NBA has chosen to hold an All-Star Game in the midst of a pandemic, but hey, at least they’re making the best of it.

The GIST: It’s All-Star season in the NBA, and New York has four to claim: the Nets’ Kevin Durant, Irving, and Harden are joined by the Knicks’ Julius Randle. While you might’ve heard of this Nets trio before, we want to get to know Randle.

The GIST: Women’s basketball conference tournaments are heating up, the semifinalists for women’s Naismith Player of the Year were announced and March Madness is just around the corner...nature is healing.

The GIST: Some of our favorite athletes and sports personalities are getting in on the $1 billion dollars of revenue that women’s sports are estimated to generate in 2021.

The GIST: While our governor prematurely queues up some Future, we’re sticking with former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. Our masks can’t hide our smiles though, thanks to a Mavs’ win and some promising Cowboys news.

Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Rudolph is reportedly interested in signing with New England.

The GIST: With Clipper Kawhi Leonard missing Tuesday’s game due to back spasms and Laker LeBron James sitting out yesterday, our NBA teams really need some R&R. Good thing the Sparks and our college hoopers are here to pick up the slack.
