🏀Celtics: The C’s certainly felt the absence of Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown (who’s out for the season) and Marcus Smart last night, falling 102–94 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. This was the C’s fourth straight loss and, prior to last night, the Cavs had lost their previous 11 games. Yeah, not good.

  • The loss also means the seventh-place C’s are locked into the dreaded play-in tournament. Let’s hope they can find a miracle some momentum in their final two regular season games, beginning Saturday vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.

🏈Patriots: The 2021-22 NFL schedule was released yesterday, and the Pats will open things up on Sunday, September 12th vs. the Miami Dolphins. However, we have Week 4 circled on our calendars: Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady’s (still hurts) return to Foxboro. So, are we booing Tom or giving him a standing ovation?

⚾️Red Sox: The bats stayed quiet last night as the Sox dropped their third straight game, falling 4–1 to the Oakland A’s. Hopefully the offense can come alive in the final game of the series tonight at 7:10 p.m. ET before the struggling LA Angels visit Fenway this weekend for a three-game series. Beat, and we cannot stress this enough, LA.
