๐Ÿ€Sixers: He may have lost the league MVP title, but Joel Embiid was our MVP in the Sixersโ€™ 118โ€“102 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. He dominated the game, scoring 40 points and snagging 13 rebounds. Torn meniscus? We donโ€™t know her.

  • The entire squad was firing, with Tobias Harris, Seth Curry and young gun Shake Milton scoring 22, 21 and 14 respectively. Yessirs.
  • Defensively, Ben Simmons and Matisse Thybulle held Hawks star Trae Young to 21 points, the least heโ€™s scored in the playoffs. If the Sixers can keep up Tuesdayโ€™s dominance, Game 3 is in the bag. Tip offโ€™s tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. ET.

โšพ๏ธPhillies: After eight and two-thirds innings without a run, utility player Luke Williams, who was only called up to the big leagues on Tuesday (!!!), hit a two-run walk-off home run to give the Phillies the 2โ€“1 win over the Atlanta Braves last night. Welcome to the show, Luke!

๐ŸVolleyball: Two former Penn State womenโ€™s volleyball standouts were named to Team USAโ€™s 12-person Olympic roster. Micha Hancock and Haleigh Washington were both part of the 2014 national championship team and will now help the U.S. chase their first-ever indoor gold.
