🏀Basketball: The Phoenix Suns are the first team to clinch a spot in the NBA conference finals, but we’re more focused on the teams not competing in the playoffs. There are currently two NBA head coaching vacancies, and San Antonio Spurs assistant Becky Hammon and University of South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley are both in contention. About damn time.

⚽️Soccer: Stop us if you’ve heard this one before, but the USWNT dominated another match. In the second of three Summer Series international friendlies hosted in Texas, the world No. 1 took down Jamaica X–x. Next up, a (maybe?) tougher challenge in No. 38 Nigeria, Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.

🏊‍♀️Swimming: The first of many tickets to Tokyo were punched yesterday, as the U.S. Olympic swimming trials began in Omaha, Nebraska. Competition continues this week with favorites Katie Ledecky and Simone Manuel hitting the pool today. Splash.

🏃‍♀️Track & Field: Hey Google, play “Track Star” by Mooski, because the USC women’s track & field team won their third program national championship yesterday. And while they finished second as a team, Texas A&M shattered the NCAA record in the 4x400 meter relay.
