🏀Celtics: The C’s held off reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (pronounced YONNIS ANDEDO-KOONPO) to narrowly defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 122–121. Jayson Tatum has ice in his veins and nailed this jaw-dropping shot with seconds left to give the Celtics a late lead.

  • Jaylen Brown stepped up in the absence of teammate Kemba Walker, posting a team-leading 33 points. And Tatum poured in 30 of his own to accompany his game-winning score.
  • Next up, a Christmas Day tilt with the Brooklyn Nets at 5 p.m. ET. The Nets are stacked with talent, including former Celtic Kyrie Irving. Did you have a basketball thriller on your holiday wish list?

🏈Patriots: Even though there are still two games left in the regular season, the Pats are already experiencing the fallout of their elimination from playoff contention. Quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch has already jumped ship and was named head coach at the University of Arizona yesterday.

  • Still, there’s no break in the action, with the surging AFC East champion Buffalo Bills coming to town for a Monday Night Football showdown at 8:15 p.m. ET...this is fine.
