🏒NHL: It was an eventful weekend for the Blackhawks. Off the ice, we said goodbye to defensemen Brent Seabrook, who announced his retirement on Friday. The 35-year-old — who recently struggled with injuries — played for Chicago for all of his 15 seasons, winning three Stanley Cups and earning one All-Star distinction in 2015. As much as we’re going to miss him, he already misses us.

  • On the ice, the Hawks battled the Tampa Bay Lightning in a three-game series this weekend: they took the first game to overtime, won the second in a shootout, and blew a three-goal lead yesterday. Welp, at least we got one.

🏀College: The Notre Dame women’s basketball team lost 68–63 to the Clemson Tigers in their first ACC Tournament game on Thursday. While the Irish were in the lead for most of the game, the Tigers’ 18-point fourth-quarter run was enough to take the lead...and the game. Womp.

  • Now, the Irish must wait until the NCAA selection show on March 15th to see if they’ll get an at-large bid for the National Tournament or hang up their jerseys until next year. *fingers crossed*
