The GIST's NFL Pick'em Challenge Contest Rules

1. Introduction

Welcome to the The GIST's NFL Pick'em Challenge (the "Promotion"), a competition based on results of the 2025 NFL Regular Season (the "Event"), accessible on the Internet via The GIST Ltd. (“The GIST”) website found at www.thegistsports.com or ca.thegistsports.com (the “Website”). By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that their email will be subscribed to The GIST email communications.

Throughout the 2025 NFL Regular Season, participants will attempt to pick the winning team of each scheduled matchup. Participants will earn 1 point for each correct pick, with scores tallied each Week and cumulatively across the season. Prizes per Week and cumulative prizes (the "Prizes") will be awarded to entrants with the highest total points, subject to the tiebreaker rules described below in Section 2.

The Promotion allows sign-up and entry beginning on or about September 2, 2025 at 8:00 PM. The game participation part of the Promotion will commence with the beginning of the 2025 NFL Regular Season and ends on January 3, 2026 at 7:00 PM (the "Promotion Period").

By entering the Challenge in accordance with the entry process described below, you will be registering to receive email communication from The GIST and agreeing that your registration and any other information collected in connection with the Promotion may be used by the following partners: The GIST and National Football League, in accordance with their Privacy Policies, a current copy of which can be found at https://www.thegistsports.com/terms-of-service.

Eligibility

This Promotion and prizing is only open to persons who (a) are Registered Users; (b) are legal residents of the United States or Canada; and (c) are at least 18 years old at time of entry. All eligibility requirements must be proven by legal documentation.

No employees (part- or full-time) of The GIST are eligible to win prizes.

A person may only win one prize at a time (as determined by email address). If the same participant finishes in multiple prize-eligible positions in a given week or overall, only their highest result will count, and the next-highest eligible entrant will receive the additional prize(s).

2. Playing

Signing Up

Registered Users can enter the Promotion by visiting the Website and following onscreen instructions to make their picks each Week. Users must submit a valid email address to participate. If a user does not already have an account, one will be created automatically with a temporary password sent to the provided email.

Due to unforeseen circumstances (including game cancellations, delays, or other events outside of The GIST’s control), The GIST may in its sole discretion make material changes to this Promotion, including, without limitation, modifying or canceling the Promotion. If such changes are necessary, they will be reflected in these Official Rules.

Selection Deadlines

  • Picks open each Week after the conclusion of last Weeks matchups.
  • Picks close at the beginning of the first matchup of the Week.
  • Once the entry period closes, picks are locked.
  • Only one set of picks may be submitted per user per week.

Making Picks / Scoring / Leaderboards

  • Each matchup will appear as a question: Which team will win?
  • Each correct pick is worth 1 point.
  • Per Week Leaderboards: display all participants’ scores for that week.
  • Cumulative Leaderboard: tracks total points across the entire 2025 NFL Regular Season.

Per Week Tiebreakers

If multiple participants tie for a prize in a given Week, ties will be broken in the following order:

  1. Accuracy of that Weeks tiebreaker question (an integer guess, e.g., total combined points scored in a designated game).
  1. Earliest submission of picks.

Season-Long Tiebreakers

If multiple participants tie for a season-long prize, ties will be broken in the following order:

  1. Number of Weeks participated.
  1. Number of tiebreaker questions answered.
  1. Cumulative difference between all tiebreaker guesses and actual results.
  1. Earliest entry of first-Week picks.

Leaderboards are for entertainment purposes only. The GIST reserves the right to revise scores and rankings at any time. Potential winners will only be notified via email from The GIST.

3. Prizing

The Pick’em Challenge will award prizes each Week and at the end of the 2025 NFL Regular Season.

Prizes per Week – awarded to the highest-scoring participant(s) each Week.

2025 NFL Regular Season-end Prizes – awarded to the highest-scoring participant(s) across the cumulative leaderboard.

Prizes are nontransferable. Specific prizes and their approximate retail value will be disclosed on the landing page and may vary each Week depending on partners.

If multiple individuals are tied after applying the tiebreakers in Section 2, prizes will be awarded based on the order of tie resolution described above.

Winner Notification

Within seven (7) calendar days of the conclusion of each Week's contest and within fourteen (14) calendar days of the end of the Promotion Period, The GIST will notify applicable winners by email. If a winner cannot be contacted within five (5) calendar days, declines their prize, is no longer subscribed to The GIST’s email list, or is found in violation of these rules, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible participant.

4. Legal Disclaimers

General Conditions

By entering, each participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of The GIST, which shall be final and binding. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of each winner.

Except where prohibited, winners’ acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for The GIST and its partners to use the winner’s name, likeness, and city/state of residence for advertising without additional compensation.

This Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. The GIST is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries or for any technical errors. The GIST may disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, falsifies information, or otherwise violates these Official Rules.

This Promotion may not be used for any form of gambling.

Internet

If for any reason the Internet portion of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, The GIST reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Promotion. The GIST assumes no responsibility for technical failures, lost entries, or damages to participants’ devices.

Release & Indemnity

By participating, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless The GIST and National Football League, and their respective affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims or damages arising out of participation in the Promotion or use of any prize.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will The GIST or its partners be liable for any damages arising from participation in the Promotion.
